A full length by Rotterdam, the Netherlands' pop-punk champions The Apers. Reanimate My Heart is a good mix of darker songs that have a feel similar to the Lillingtons' later material such as All Over, You Know and Behind Enemy Lines, and poppier Queers-influenced songs. This record is even a notch up from the fantastic full lengths, EPs, and splits that the Apers have released in the past. While it makes for a short listen at only 10 songs, it is a solid record that makes 2007 look like it might be another successful year for pop-punk. Stand out tracks include "Behind Enemy Lines," "Back Against The Wall," "Rather Eat Glass," and "The Night Feels So Much Better Than The Day." - All Ages Dave Dillon
